The Fort Frances Power Corporation is a private corporation, governed by a Board of Directors, whose shareholder is the Town of Fort Frances and is regulated by the Ontario Energy Board.

Fort Frances Power Corporation (FFPC) is a local distribution company which distributes electric power to the Town of Fort Frances, Ontario.  The Town is located approximately 300 km west of Thunder Bay, Ontario,
approximately 250 km east of the Manitoba Border and is adjacent to the Town of International Falls, Minnesota. FFPC provides electrical service within the municipal boundaries of the Town of Fort Frances.

November 1, 2023 Electricity Prices

November 2023 Prices
On November 1, 2023, new Time-of-Use (TOU), Ultra-Low Overnight (ULO) and Tiered prices for residential and small business customers under the Ontario Energy Board’s (OEB) Regulated Price Plan (RPP) will change. The winter TOU hours and the change in the Tier threshold for residential customers on Tiered pricing will take effect November 1 as usual and remain in place until April 30, 2024. ULO hours remain unchanged.
