If you are a residential or small business customer that pays Time-of-Use (TOU) electricity prices, you can choose to switch to Tiered prices beginning November 1st, 2020.
If you want to continue paying TOU prices, no action is required.
To switch from TOU to Tiered prices, you must notify the Fort Frances Power Corporation by completing an election form. The election form can be downloaded using the link below. The completed form can be e-mailed to email@example.com or placed in our drop box, located outside of our office. Customers can also use the e-billing portal to submit the pricing plan change request through the self service form. The Fort Frances Power Corporation will begin accepting election forms on October 13th, 2020. There is no deadline. You can ask to switch at any time.
If you would like to learn more about your pricing options, visit www.oeb.ca/choice or click on the TOU Customer Choice Q&A link below.
Electricity prices shown here are in effect Feb. 23, 2021 to April 30, 2021. These are the prices that appear on the Electricity line of your bill and are only for the electricity you use. They do not include other charges like delivery.
If you have a contract with an electricity retailer, you pay the price agreed upon in the contract, not the price set by the OEB.
Please add the "FF" prefix to your meter number while using the Self Service option.
